1. The service
Import Assistant is a software-as-a-service platform for managing the India → Bangladesh trade corridor. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for the actions of every user in your organization. Roles are enforced server-side; do not attempt to bypass them.
3. Acceptable use
- No unlawful cargo, sanctioned trade or misrepresented documents.
- No automated scraping or reverse engineering beyond the published API and MCP interfaces.
- No uploading of malware or content that infringes third-party rights.
4. Customer data
You retain ownership of the data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit that data solely to deliver the service.
5. Fees
Subscription fees, transaction fees and pass-through logistics costs are governed by your order form. Invoices are payable net-15 unless otherwise agreed.
6. Service levels
Target uptime is 99.5% monthly for the web application and REST API, excluding maintenance windows announced in advance. See Status.
7. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's confidential information using at least the same standard of care it applies to its own.
8. Warranties & disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Customs, tax and regulatory decisions are the responsibility of the importer of record.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, each party's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days. On termination we will make your data available for export for 30 days, after which it is deleted.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. The courts of Dhaka have exclusive jurisdiction.
