Thesis
The India–Bangladesh corridor moves roughly USD 16B / year but runs on manual paperwork, WhatsApp coordination and Excel reconciliation. A single, auditable operating system collapses lead time, unlocks financing and creates the first defensible data layer on top of the corridor.
What we've built
17-phase pipeline covering RFQ → quotation → PO → warehouse → export → customs → BD delivery → invoicing → finance close. RLS-enforced multi-tenant portals for suppliers and customers. AI voice agent. Audit-first architecture with tamper-evident activity log.
Why now
Bangladesh customs digitisation, cross-border UPI-adjacent rails, and post-pandemic nearshoring have turned the corridor into an execution problem, not a policy problem. Whoever owns the operating layer owns pricing power on freight, finance and data.
Use of funds
Engineering (60%): platform, integrations, mobile. Ops (25%): Kolkata warehouse, Chattogram operations. GTM (15%): enterprise sales, supplier onboarding.
One corridor, every party, one record.
India is Bangladesh's largest import origin by shipment count, and almost all of that trade is coordinated over spreadsheets, email and chat. The workflow is repetitive, document-heavy and regulated — the conditions under which a system of record wins.
Why now
- Land-port volume through Benapole keeps growing while the paperwork remains manual and locally interpreted.
- NBR duty structure and Bangladesh Bank payment rules change often enough that static spreadsheets go stale within a season.
- Importers now expect the visibility they get from domestic e-commerce, and their buyers ask for it in turn.
- Bilingual, corridor-specific software has no incumbent — global TMS vendors do not model a land border at this level.
Business model
- Subscription per importer organisation, tiered by pipeline volume and modules in use.
- Partner-side access is included, so network growth does not require new sales motion.
- Free public tools — the duty calculator and corridor guides — are the acquisition surface.
- Expansion follows the roadmap: a second lane and the Chattogram sea route after the land corridor is dense.
Entity & governance
- Operating entity: Marketsync Global Ltd., incorporated under the Companies Act, 1994.
- Registration No. RAJC-2483/2025 · TIN 317774303960 · Trade Licence 01/13-2665.
- Registered office: Kashidanga City Gate, Rajpara, Rajshahi-6201, Bangladesh.
- Platform access is role-gated, and every state change is retained in an activity log available for diligence.
What is already built
All seventeen phases of the platform roadmap are shipped and in production: authentication and roles, CRM, supplier engine, procurement, warehouse, customs and LC, logistics, dispatch, receivables, payables and treasury, landed cost and margin, customer and supplier portals, messaging and digests, compliance, and the executive cockpit.
